Te Koinga Cottage (point of land) is the largest of our three accommodation choices and can comfortably host two couples or a family.

Positioned on the edge of the world, it’s location affords guests a mesmerizing view of the southern end of the beach and it’s beautiful surrounds.
With an expansive deck that offers complete privacy, and an outdoor table with seating for twelve, you can relax underneath the sun umbrella and enjoy the natural beauty of Bethells Beach with your family and friends.
The fully appointed kitchen was designed with entertaining in mind and has views far across the Tasman sea. It’s a pleasure to light the wood fire, put on some music and prepare a meal as the sun sets through the windows in front of you
Dining takes on an expansive feel when seated at the hand crafted Eucalyptus and Matai table built for twelve. There’s plenty of room to entertain and make a night of it or simply enjoy a romantic evening for two.
The beautiful bathroom is perfect for those who like to draw a hot bath and soak in silence before retiring to a comfortable bed and falling asleep to to the sounds of nature.
The Te Koinga cottage was designed and built by John and interior designed by Trude and has many creative touches that imbue it with a sense of bohemian splendor and flare.
It is the perfect home away from home where you can relax and experience the rugged beauty of the west coast with your loved ones and friends.
Te Koinga Cottage Facilities
| Sleeping |
There are two bedrooms. The first has a queen bed and is ideal for couples. The second has three bunks and is designed to sleep three children. In the main living area there is a large double divan offering a comfortable nights sleep for two. With the wood fire in the same area this makes for a cozy place to tuck up and fall asleep. |

Kitchen |
The fully self contained kitchen comes complete with microwave oven, large fridge freezer, dishwasher and coffee maker. |

Outdoor cooking |
There is a large brick wood fired barbecue located directly outside the cottage. It is completely sheltered and makes a lovely area to gather around as you cook. |

Dining |
In the main living area there is a hand crafted Eucalyptus and Matai table with seating for twelve. Outside on the deck a rustic outdoor table caters for up to twelve people. |

Lounge |
The cottage has a beautiful open plan living area with two comfortable chaise lounge and a wood fire. There is a television, video/ DVD player and CD/radio, stereo for you to enjoy. |

Bathroom and toilet |
The beautiful bathroom has both a shower and a bath. The toilet is separate with it’s own hand basin and there is an outdoor shower for those who enjoy a more natural bathing experience. |

Entertainment |
We have many games available on request including Chess, Petanque, Croquet and there is Table Tennis on permanent standby in the pavilion. |

Scandinavian Hot tub |
The Scandinavian hot tub is located a short stroll from your door. After a day of adventure it’s the perfect place to sit and watch the sun go down. |
