Venue & Amenities Hire: Use of the venue and amenities for the specified times is included in your package price. This includes access to amenities in 2 of our cottages, enjoyment of the stunning grounds and ample parking space for your guests.

Marriage Celebrant: Your host, Trude Bethell Paice is a Marriage Celebrant and her presiding services are included in the cost of the venue. If you have someone else in mind as your Marriage Celebrant this is fine too. Just remember, you will also need two witnesses on hand to sign the marriage certificate and a marriage license which takes 3 days to process and is available from The Department of Internal Affairs, Birth, Deaths and Marriages. Decorations and Set Up: Flower arranging, pavilion and cottage decoration and adding just the right personal touch are Trude's specialty. Bethells Beach Cottages have a basic selection of decorations which are available for your use. You may also request a quote from Trude to arrange additional decorations for you. For personal touches and additional floral arrangements you may use a professional service provider or supply your own.

In-house Professional Caterer
Our in-house professional caterer offers an array of delectable treats tailored to your needs and tastes. You will liase directly with the caterer to organise your personalised menu selection.

Guest Numbers and Set Up:
Whilst we are able to accommodate up to 100 people, we can just as easily host a small and intimate affair. The package prices above are based on a minimum of 25 guests. For weddings smaller than 25 guests, please request a quote.
Our newly constructed pavilion provides a perfect table setting and dance floor area and/or offers you the option of open-air, under-cover seating. If you prefer, you and your guests can dine Al fresco under the stars. Whatever your dreams, we offer the perfect location for your indoor/outdoor wedding.

 

Criteria for Weddings held at Bethells Beach Cottages:
What sets Bethells Beach Cottages apart from other venues is its breathtaking natural setting. It is a place of tranquility and rejuvenation. To maintain and honor its natural presence and beauty, we do not hold weddings that include:

• Live bands
• Guest numbers above approx. 100
• Late reception parties beyond 11.00pm

NOTE:
The bar closes at 11pm and all guests not staying in the cottages are to vacate by 11.30pm
Bus transport can be used effectively for traveling as a group back into the city for your ‘after party’ celebrations

Arrived here to the sound of the waves and truly believed we had found the perfect location for our wedding. The flowers in the cottage were spectacular, everything we could have wished for, woke up to a fantastic breakfast prepared with care by Trude on our wedding day. The weather was awful all day, until ½ hour before the wedding when the sun came out, the sky turned blue and stayed absolutely perfect for the rest of our special day. Trude and John made our wedding the best day we have ever had with the largest lobster and champagne dinner - we look forward to spending many more happy times here in the place where our most special memories will be until we open the door once more. Thank you for all the care and attention that made everything perfect. What else can I add? Just the most amazing place. Thanks to John & Anthony for an impromptu stag party to remember!
