Welcome to Bethells Beach Cottages. We are located on the wild, untamed West Coast of Auckland, New Zealand.

You may see some of the spectacular and beautiful views in the photos at the top of each page.

Our 3 fully self-contained cottages offer casual comfort and stunning coastal views. Te Koinga | Turehu | Wairua are the three cottages.

We welcome you personally to stay here at Bethells Beach Cottages. Our  accommodation choices offer complete privacy with parking to the door.

We also welcome wedding groups looking for a romantic beach venue. You are welcome to book our beautiful wedding pavilion. It is also ideal for other functions as well including live music, corporate or health sanctuary retreats and can be used by groups of up to 100 guests.

John & Trude Bethell Paice

Your hosts Trude and John Bethell-Paice live by the motto “To give is to love and to love is to live”

This is reflected in the “little touches” that make a stay at the cottages a very special experience.

Trude is an excellent cook, worked in London’s best kitchens and with a little forward notice will put great love into the preparation of a delicious meal of your choice. We have our our pizza oven also.

Both John and Trude appreciate that most guests prefer absolute privacy but wish you to know they are on hand to share their extensive knowledge of the local area or accompany you on guided tours if required. ant to know more About us.
